My greatest fear is that I won't remember the youth of our relationship.
This blog is dedicated to us as a reminder of what we shared.
My goal is to keep this a secret until I'm asked "the question."
Maybe we can also pass this blog down to our children - how weird would that be.
As I'm writing this I'm already eerily hearing us read out loud and make comments.
I'm sure we'll never forget when we first met.
It started by way of Facebook at my first and only semester at Radford University. You were a sophomore at Virginia Tech. I recognized you from middle school. Something inside you offered to take me out to dinner at Red Robins (Christiansburg). I accepted, and you arrived in your red jeep that I've since named "Cherry." You introduced me to Strawberry lemonade and taught me how an engine worked with my fist cupped and a couple slices of a lemon as a model. I was wearing an ECU sweatshirt and my hair was extremely short - you thought the haircut was cute, but wanted the sweater off. I can't remember what you were wearing but my guess is probably that it was a Virginia Tech shirt under a Virginia Tech sweater and one of many pairs of Levi Jeans. You took me for a small tour of your school. I remember you grabbing my hand and not letting go, they were so soft, I didn't say anything, it felt right. From that point on after we retired to your apartment where I spent the night I had always felt comfortable in your presence.
As far as this moment goes, we just shared a very fun weekend. We helped put your parents shed together, went to Hershey Park and spent Memorial Day watching Pacific and eating a lot of junk food!
